In this immersive experience, you’ll collaborate as a team while navigating the complexities of competition. Each team will face the real-world challenges of breaking down silos and working towards a unified goal, all while being benchmarked against a global playing field. By analysing your decisions and drawing parallels to workplace dynamics, you’ll uncover powerful insights into how your team can enhance their performance. Will teams prioritise individual gain, or will they sacrifice their own points for the greater good?

How it works

Before Mars is an engaging simulation addresses real-world corporate challenges, particularly in environments that demand strategic thinking, long-term planning, and collaboration, even when not all information is available. Participants embody the roles of team members preparing for a mission to Mars to save humanity, where decision-making and teamwork are crucial for success. 

In this immersive experience:

• Delegates will be divided into teams of approximately 3 to 8 people, with each team seated at separate tables within a single room to encourage interaction
• The game unfolds over four quarters, each consisting of five rounds
• Teams' scores can be benchmarked against a global playing field, allowing you to see how your performance compares to industry averages or colleagues overseas
• At the conclusion of the module, your facilitator will lead a thorough debrief, offering insights into your team dynamics and feedback for improvement
• You will also receive a detailed post-event report, including a SWOT analysis of your team’s performance, which highlights cooperation, decision-making, and task execution—insights that can be leveraged to enhance real-world performance
